CHINESE & JAPANESE ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture involves using fine, stainless steel needles at different points of the body to stimulate our natural channels of energy. It is believed to turn the body onto ‘repair mode’ where it helps calm the nervous system and enable it to better heal itself.
Some people prefer Japanese acupuncture for its gentler stimulation that is due to the use of much thinner needles.
For the best, long-lasting results, acupuncture should be performed regularly, and not only when you are experiencing pain and/or discomfort. Note that following acupuncture, you may encounter temporary blemishes on the skin on the areas where the treatment has been performed – this discolouration usually subsides within minutes.
